Beef Satay

Satay is simply scrumptious in my opinion. I grew up helping my mom skewered satay. Then my dad and I used the dried coconut shells to make fire and grilled satay over them. The smoky flavor was simply irresistible. I can’t replicate this grilling style over here in Spokane but what I can do is bringing forward and sharing the satay recipe that feels like home to me. Small cubes of beef are marinated with exotic spices including cumin and coriander. The beef satay are pan grilled and served with a delectable savory, spicy, tangy and sweet peanut sauce.
